In April 1997 the medical centre in Bank Street, Faversham housed three busy doctors practices. It had been agreed that Dr Taylor & Partners (formally Dr Jankowski & Partners) would find new premises.
FDA were approached by Civils Construction Ltd to design a new medical centre to house a seven Doctor Surgery, Minor Operations Rooms, NHS Suite, Function Rooms and Administration Areas,
Civils, a multi-diciplined organisation, would act as developer & principal contractor and FDA were appointed as principal architect and project manager.
A fast-track/turn-key/design and build contract was agreed and the project took just fourteen months to complete, from sketch stage to the day of opening.
